Where to start....

I have been so hesitant to start this blogging forum for us because I had no idea where to start. At the beginning of Larry's and my relationship? The whole, "Hi I'm Jen" introduction? So I just decided to start where we are now. Don't worry, we're like a daytime soap opera in the sense that our lives are easy to catch up with. ;)
Lately our family has tried our hardest to become healthier...or rather, Jen (yes....me in the third person) has been fiercely inforcing the horrible "eat good!" laws on the family. ;) One of the highlights of this journey, having (hopefully) eaten our last fastfood night while watching "Supersize" me. I tell you what, it's a pleasant way to end a day, especially after eating fastfood. Sadly, while I am moaning in disgust on my side of the couch, Larry smiles and says, "I feel fine! Pass me another fry." Something has to break him eventually.
My next attempt is starting us on Jillian Michaels "making the cut". Our deal was that we would start this after the Rasmussen Reunion and after Larry's conference in TX, so we are looking at the second week in August. I AM holding him to this agreement and now all of you are my go to's when he denies he said so. So in preparation I am sifting through the book and having us try different recipes that we will be eating for that 30 days. *note: just tried the "oats and eggwhite hot cereal this morning...bleh. The only way it got better was when I closed my eyes and thought of England...supposively that's what you're suppose to do?? Oooh man! Larry is going to hate this! Heehee hee.
On a positive note (more for Larry) we went to Elitch Gardens yesturday. It was alot of fun and we had so much fun getting to finally know the Eliason's and Hinkson's a little bit better. Edana even enjoyed herself by playing DDR and riding her first time ON the horse of the carousel rather than being placed in the chariots. :) We were so proud, but didn't think to take a picture then. Silly us.

I love it. Edana on DDR makes me laugh. She hasn't changed since the good old days!

A good start to your blog-it's already better than mine. It'll be fun to have ready pictures though. Can't wait to see you next week!
