Gratitued

I haven't had the time to enter in our thanksgiving yet, so yet again, I'm behind on the Eyring fun.

I always love Thanksgiving, even if stores and media seemed more jazzed about Christmas and surpass this little holiday. I love it. I love being able to share stories with friends and family, to reminse about the "good ol' times" and learning something new about eachother. This year we were able to go out to Utah to spend Thanksgiving with my family, while my grandparents were there. I actually enjoy being closer to family. For years, I never thought I'd feel this way, but I love the feeling of "belonging" somewhere. I know that our family is always welcomed home in all our Utah families houses and what a great blessing that is.

Though there may have been a few down points during Thanksgiving:
Poor Mike spraining his ankle during football, and my mom lying in bed with food poisoning all day; it still was such a great holiday and Edana even got to help with her first decorating a Christmas tree with Nana! She loved it!

I apologize for the lack of pictures, since I always seem to forget to take alot when it's an actual kodak moment, and also for the fact that I wasn't able to get a picture of jello with foreign objects floating in it like I promised some, due to my mom's sad illness. But I'm sure Christmas will make up for both. ;)

So, what am I grateful for?

Life.

Laughs.

Family

Love

Friendship

Food

Clean water

A place to sleep

A running car

Good health

Being a stay at home mom

Support

Kindness

Music

Books

Prayers

Temple

Those whom Sacraficed everything for us

I am so grateful for the life I have. Though, I will admit, I complain alot at times, I truly am grateful. I am so lucky to have the life that I live and am so blessed by the people in my life: friends, family, new friends, and just kind people I meet. Why Heavenly Father blessed a person like me with all of this, I may never know, but what I do know is that I am so grateful to Him for His never-failing love and constant guidance. I love my Father in Heaven and am always so amazed by His wonderful plan for us all.

Thankyou.

Ah, Jen. You always have the greatest entries. It was great having your family up for Thanksgiving, and we can't wait until Christmas. Brandon seemed bummed that we get to have you at our house when you first arrive, but maybe that will help him to appreciate you more. . . we'll see. I'm sure he'll still talk your ear off. It's been fun talking to you on the phone a lot more lately too. I did want to say that you're better at pictures than me. I brought our camera, but forgot to take any.
