Well, I'm back. To the blogging that is, though I guess technically I'm back from Utah too...though that was two weeks ago.
I will be honest. I have been terribly lazy about putting up more blogs and it's not that I don't have pictures, I do, I've just been lazy.
I had the chance to be able to go out to Utah and spend time with my sister-in-law Abby, her hubby CJ and their new little boy, Xander.
Despite Xander's little size and the conditions he and Abby went through, they both are recouping and getting so much stronger.
It was amazing to see how connected little Xander was to his mommy and daddy. Xander would become so calm when Abby was near and would zonk out in his daddy's arms. As much as CJ protests, Xander looks so much like his daddy.
Though Edana couldn't go in the room to see Xander, she LOVED looking at him through the window. Everytime we went to visit him she would say, "Ooh! Hello baby Xander! I love you!" and then would ask to hold him. It was very sweet to see how much love Edana already has for her little cousin and she STILL talks about him all the time at home.
I am so humbled by the real miracles that are occuring all around us. I am so grateful for the miracle that took place right here in our own family and am so grateful for the constant place of miracles in this world. We all truly need them and I can say without a doubt that miracles are real.
On a huge has-nothing-to-do-with-anything-side note: this is what happens if a little girl continues to stay up til 11:00 at night and not take many naps.
Craziness.

He is so cute! I'm glad that they're doing okay-it makes you smile to see a healthy baby. I must say that I haven't seen the part where Allie chokes on the flower petals. . . you really must point that out to me. :) We miss you so much and if you need help growing your monkey business, lemme know, sometimes I can sew.
Xander is such a cute little guy! I'm glad you guys got the chance to spend some time with him!
