Winter wonderland

I took these a number of weeks ago, thinking about how much I love fall.

And the next morning, it snowed.

Snow is a finicky thing. When you are least expecting it, it falls.

When you find yourself humming "let it snow" and "winter wonderland", its gone.

Despite the small snow flurries this season, we Eyrings are enjoying the cold weather.

Edana has even said THIS IS THE YEAR she is going to talk to Santa...we'll see...

A favorite in our house: snowfights then hot chocolate.

Or going out to fun parades and festivals with friends.

Just a side note, as I was dancing around the kitchen one day listening to my beloved Christmas music, I saw this little face.

I love it when life feels completely perfect.

Edward Joseph Eyring

Our New little addition to the family Edward Joseph Eyring was born Oct. 8, 2010

at 5:36 a.m. 7lbs 8oz-21inches long.

Because of this sweet little boy we are now a family of four!
My mom was a great help, coming all the way from Utah to see her grandkids.

At the hospital Edana informed us that "the baby can stay here, mom"...

...yet she can't stop kissing and hugging this little guy.

It's so amazing how much love we instantly have for him.

Its so amazing how much love I can have for these three.

I really have the greatest kids.

My sweet boy.

One of my friends kept telling me how her sons were like her little boyfriends....

I totally understand what she is saying now.

To be given something so precious.

Something and someone that is able to make his daddy tear up at the slightest smile or coo.

Who is becoming our little girl's best friend.

Makes him the most special little boy.

September has been quite the month.

With things like...



Entertaining a 3 year old...
Getting presents ready for little Eddie...

Playing til our faces ached from laughing...

Seeing a real live Zebu. Suddenly one of the Veggie Tales songs makes sense to us...

Having animal adventures, as usual...

Going to our first Circus....

Realizing that some things would be more painful than being 9 months prego and sitting on a wooden bench for 2 hours, like be squished into a 20 gallon tank...

Saying farwell to an old command and hello to a new unit...
